Blended Learning: Research Perspectives
I am new to this list, so my question may be outside the scope of youor discussions. I am a medievalist in the English Department at UAB, and I intersperse my in-class teaching with "virtual assignments" which the students complete at their own computers at home. Their off-line work is counted as a "class," so we don't meet as a group that day. The assignments are made up of questions from various disciplines, each focusing back on the text we've been dicussing. Although I "invented" this technique, I'm sure others outside my department and school teach this way. I'd like to learn anything I can from you and would be happy to share asignments.
