Blended Learning: Research Perspectives
Hello:
Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah, is building a competency-based degree completion program in business. This program moves away from credit hours, grades, and seat-time to be a true competency-based program, where students must demonstrate mastery of competencies in order to complete the program.
Competency is measured through a series of projects; professional and/or life learning is augmented through sets of learning experiences. We are interested primarily in what students can do with their learning.
If you are a faculty member who would be interested in joining us in the development phase (program goes live in fall 2008), then email me: akrause@westminstercollege.edu.
We are looking to hire a colleague with experience and interest in such a program, with a Ph.D. in a business-related area.
Don't hesitate to contact me with questions.
